GenerateInvoice.net is built with privacy as a core principle. Your invoice data is processed entirely in your browser and stored locally on your device. We never upload, store, or have access to your invoice content or business information unless you explicitly choose to use our shareable link feature.
Data We Collect
Local Storage (Your Device Only)
- Invoice drafts and history (up to 10 invoices)
- Your business information (if you choose to save it)
- Custom line items in your library
- Preferences (currency, template, language)
This data never leaves your browser unless you explicitly share an invoice.
Server Storage (Only for Shared Links)
- Invoice data for shareable links (expires after 30 days)
- View count for shared invoices
- Optional PIN hash (if you set PIN protection)
Analytics & Advertising
- Anonymous usage analytics (page views, feature usage)
- Ad performance metrics from our advertising partners
Third-Party Services
Google AdSense
We display advertisements through Google AdSense to keep this service free. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Supabase
We use Supabase to store shareable invoice links. Only invoice data you explicitly share is stored on Supabase servers, with automatic deletion after 30 days.
Your Rights
- Clear Local Data: You can clear all locally stored data at any time through your browser settings or our app.
- Delete Shared Links: Contact us to delete any shared invoice links before their 30-day expiration.
- Export Data: Your invoice data is always accessible and exportable as PDF.
